Day 13
You Can Score 95% And Still Be Broke Later

You can score 95% and still end up broke later.
That sounds a bit extreme, but the more I think about it, the more it makes sense.
In school, everything is structured. If you pay attention, follow instructions, and give the expected answers, you do well. There’s always a clear path and a clear result.
But real life doesn’t work like that.
There’s no fixed syllabus for making money. No answer sheet. Most of the time, you’re just figuring things out as you go, dealing with uncertainty, talking to people, making decisions without knowing if they’ll work.
And that’s a completely different skill set.
I’ve started noticing that people who were average in school sometimes end up doing really well later, while some people who did everything “right” feel stuck or unsure about what to do next.
It’s not about intelligence. It’s just that school trains you to operate within a system, while money usually comes from creating value outside of one.
I’m not saying school is useless at all. It just feels like it only prepares you for one side of the game, and most people don’t even realize there’s another side until much later.
Curious if others have thought about this too.
